@doniamae I was immediately tempted to go dig around to find out what it was but then thought I’d let it be… for now.
It was pretty adorable, though, watching him pat down the leaves on top to really secure whatever it was.
Watched a squirrel bury some kinda food in a leaf pile in my driveway, so he’s definitely going to survive winter. 🐿
