2nd thanks to two people at the windom cenex station who dealt rather coolly with an irrationally upset girl. (yes, that was me.)

1st thanks to usd alumnus who pulled over to help me put on my spare tire when i got a flat tire outside of windom, mn. that sucked.

if i wait another half hour, then i can go to bed without feeling too guilty. no fireworks for this girl tonight…

@rizoldak i know it – this is my busiest few weeks of the summer, then i can relax… i gotta make up for antisocial winters somehow.

@B_Knowles i wish my parents enjoyed hgtv as much as i do, but… i guess i get to know them a little better when i’m home?

from-my-parents’-garden leaf lettuce and pea pods, ribs that my dad smoked yesterday, and two silly cats – being home again is awesome.

i went back to bed for a half hour and feel much better about being awake now. i have another 5-hour drive to make in a couple hours! urg.

woke up at 8:30 without an alarm… but thinking about going back to bed.

just reviewed the photos from earlier today… janet, kaushik, and all of their family and friends make my job as photographer *very* easy!

@best_day_ever good to know! i’m storing gardening tips and ideas in my brain for experimentation next summer.

my parents have a baby morning dove nesting on a rock out front. i took some photos and probably gave him a tiny bird heart attack.

@best_day_ever do you have to do anything else, or will the earwigs just fall off / disappear on their own?

And I just noticed a hole in my shirt. Am I stressing too much?

Go figure: tire pressure alert light turned on in my car this morning. Srsly.
